Refund policy

Effective date: August 21, 2026

This agreement is with Fervo LLC ("Fervo", "we", "us"). This policy explains how refunds work for tickets sold through Fervo's checkout. It is part of our Terms of Service.

1. The organizer sets the policy; we publish it

Each event on Fervo has a refund policy chosen by its organizer. That exact policy is shown to you at checkout before you pay, and the version you accepted is attached to your order. If you no longer have your confirmation email, contact us at info@fervopass.com and we will send you the policy that applies to your order.

2. Common policy types

  • All sales final. No refunds unless the event is cancelled.
  • Refundable until a deadline. Full or partial refunds if requested before a stated date/time.
  • Name changes allowed instead. Some events don't refund but let you transfer your ticket to another person.

The policy printed at your checkout is the one that governs, not the general descriptions here.

3. If the event is cancelled

If an organizer cancels an event outright, you are entitled to a refund of the ticket price. Refunds are issued back to the original payment card through Stripe. Processing usually completes within 5 to 10 business days depending on your bank.

4. If the event is rescheduled or changed

Tickets for a rescheduled event normally remain valid for the new date. The organizer decides whether refunds are offered in that situation, under the policy you accepted at checkout.

5. How refunds are processed

Refunds are initiated by the organizer (or by Fervo where required) and executed through Stripe against the original charge. Because payments settle directly into the organizer's own Stripe account, the organizer is the party responsible for issuing refunds owed under their policy. Fervo provides the tooling and will step in where an organizer fails to honor a published policy.

6. Chargebacks

If you dispute a charge with your bank instead of requesting a refund, the outcome is decided by the card network's process, which can take longer than a direct refund. We recommend contacting the organizer or info@fervopass.com first, because that route is almost always faster.

7. Orders from other platforms

Fervo also helps organizers check in tickets originally sold on other providers (for example, Eventbrite or Universe). Those orders are governed by that provider's own refund terms; Fervo cannot refund a purchase it did not process.
